ARABESQUEs' STORY
During the British occupation of the Holy Land in 1930 an expectant arab lady bore a female child in Jerusalem and called her under the name of another arab saint: Fatma.
At the age of 17 Fatma was already a known rural school teacher; but me Eban being a seven years older boy there was not much difference for us because we both fell in love with each other as we both professed to believe in one sole Saviour, though ethnically there would be a kind of wall even taller than what surrounds the Old City of JERUSALEM; inside of which Fatma was born.
This was only an early story of my young life to understand that all humans are equal before the supremely invisible Creator: but years later the Most Almighty made me to undestand that my lovely sweetheart Fatma; who corrected also this my arabic text might soon leave me because of her heart failure, and in 1955 she was taken up to rest above the hill; before Bebl'amud gate.
